Did you know gun control only affects law abiding citizens?

Did you know Obama gave AK-47s to Mexican drug cartels?

Did you know those cartels operate in the southern United States?

Did you know that 1 armed person in Aurora or Newtown could have stopped that shooter? resulting in LESS deaths?

Did yo know guns are used LEGALLY an estimated 100,000-2.5 million times a year in self defense?

(so by banning guns, you’re actually causing more deaths)

Did you know one of my friends recently used his concealed carry weapon to defend his life? But no, YOU would rather my friend be dead wouldn’t you? (PS, he’s a Drill Sergeant at Ft. Benning, survived multiple combat tours only to come home and almost be killed by 3 rednecks with knives)

On the subject of knives

I do not mean to bring up politics on here, and I rather stay away from them, but this must be heard. The other day during a pres conference held my our Commander and Chief, he forced a US Marine to hold an umbrella for him. Now usually this is not a big deal, usually he has a secret service member or a US Army-man hold it for him, but he forced a Marine to hold it. I use the word “forced” because it is against Marine regulations to hold an umbrella while in dress uniform. Now to some this will seam like no big deal, but it really is. Marines live by these rules, and will do anything to follow them and not brake them, but when you’re Commander and Chief “forces” a Marine to break these rules we have a problem. Again, I’m sorry to bring up politics, but this isn’t just something for Right Wings to get mad at the President for, it’s something that we all should be mad at him for. Just realize, Marines live by their rules day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute, and as soon as those rules are broken, there is no longer anything to live by.

We choose what rules we follow.

It would seem the only people pissed off over the fact that the President “forced” the Marines to hold umbrellas are not Marines.

People need to stop pretending to care about this. Seriously Those service members who are there at the white house, regardless of branch, are there to serve and protect the President and his staff regardless of what that means. That is their JOB.

Like Kyle said, the only ones who are pissed, seem to not be Marines.

Regardless of your political alignments, for most Service members, it’s an honor to be called on by your Commander-in-Chief. Even if that means shielding him and another PM from a bit of rain.
